Yesterday we got an unexpected call by the organizers of the Businessplan-Wettbewerb Berlin-Brandenburg. We are among the final five contestants of the third stage of the businessplan competition!
We are really excited about this opportunity. For one, it gives us a chance to win up to 8000,- €, which would be great to put into developing and promoting shoutr. For another, we get the chance to pitch our business idea to a group of experts from the finance industry. After pitching to accelerator programs and other kinds of investors we now face the challenge to prove to those people who look at the hard numbers that we have a solid business concept. Then they will decide whether we count ourselves among the final three who will be awarded first, second or third place on June 14.
The date for the pitch to the jurors of the businessplan competition is Wednesday May 29. A lot of work has to be done until then, but after calling the first place of the second stage our own we definitely want to get the third stage, as well.
So, keep your fingers crossed.
